Vieri Certified as Eco-Lighthouse

– We are proud to be Eco-Lighthouse certified. The certification shows that we take clear responsibility for minimising our environmental impact in all parts of our business, says Brikt Grendar, former CEO of Vieri.

Vieri has recently been certified as an Eco-Lighthouse, one of Norway's most recognised schemes for environmental management. The certification confirms that the company works systematically to reduce its environmental impact and improve conditions in areas such as working environment, waste management, energy, transport and procurement.

Commitment to continuous improvement

The Eco-Lighthouse certification involves not only meeting current requirements, but also committing to continuous development. Going forward, Vieri will continue to identify areas for improvement, report results and set increasingly stringent requirements for its own operations.

– The certification is an important milestone, but not a final destination. Our ambition is to operate ever smarter and more responsibly, together with our employees and partners, says Grendar.

A standard designed for the future

The Eco-Lighthouse scheme is approved by the EU, supported by Norwegian authorities, and used by over 9,000 businesses in Norway. The certification gives Vieri an important tool for documenting environmental responsibility both internally and to customers and partners.
