Porsche Norway: Gained Control of Procurement with Vieri

After Porsche AG acquired Autozentrum Sport AS in 2023, it quickly became clear that the Norwegian Porsche division needed new tools to meet the group's requirements for documentation and procurement routines. Procurement Manager Kai Magne Mauseth took action – and found the solution in Vieri.
– After the acquisition, we received new procurement guidelines from Porsche AG, but we lacked a good IT tool to follow them up, says Mauseth, who has been with the company for almost two years.
From manual forms to digital control
With a growing need for overview, documentation and traceability in procurement, Porsche Norge began searching for a tool that could make processes both simpler and more structured.
– We wanted a system that could issue written purchase orders with approval in advance, instead of carrying out approval only when the invoice appeared. This provides much better control and makes it easier to plan, he says.
Flexible and user-friendly solution
After evaluating several alternatives, the choice fell on Vieri.
– Vieri stood out as a flexible and user-friendly solution, with good customer service and follow-up, says Mauseth.
The system is being connected to the invoice management solution Compello, which they already use.
A wide range of ways to order goods and services
Porsche purchases many services, and it was important to have good system support for this as well.
By using Vieri's request for quotation module (RFQ), Porsche can efficiently run mini-competitions among several suppliers. Suppliers submit bids on the requested service, and the solution supports ongoing dialogue during negotiations. When the best bid is selected, a requisition is generated to the chosen supplier, which enters the standard requisition and order flow with associated approval. This ensures that the entire process is digitalised while providing full traceability and control.
Another important element of the solution is integration with external online stores through so-called PunchOut functionality. This enables employees to shop directly from preferred suppliers – while all purchases are documented and controlled in Vieri.
– We have integrated online stores such as Dustin and Eplehuset, which we use frequently. This makes it easy for employees to order what they need at agreed prices, without us losing control of the process. The system ensures that approval, documentation and financial management happen before the purchase, says Mauseth.
Control, insight and confidence
Today, a large proportion of employees actively use the system. The result is better overview and documentation and more predictable financial management.
– We can see what has been ordered, what is committed and when we can expect an invoice. This provides both control and confidence, says Mauseth.
