Easier to Deliver Services Across the Nordics
Vieri enters a partnership with Swedish Inexchange. – This will open doors for many, and make it easier for Norwegian companies to deliver services to public sector organisations across the Nordics, says Brikt Grendar, former CEO of Vieri.
Vieri is Norway's leading supplier of software for electronic procurement, while Inexchange is one of Sweden's largest players in procurement, invoicing and message exchange, with over one million users in the Nordics and over 340,000 transactions every day.
Lowering the threshold
– It has long been both expensive and complicated for suppliers to the public sector to meet the requirements for e-commerce via the common European solution PEPPOL. The collaboration between Inexchange and Vieri significantly lowers the threshold, says Simon Strandell, Commercial Director at Inexchange.
Together, Vieri and Inexchange will now offer comprehensive solutions that will optimise order and invoice processes for all types of businesses and their suppliers. The solution meets all requirements related to PEPPOL formats and PEPPOL infrastructure in the Nordics.
– This means it will be easier for Norwegian companies to deliver services and products beyond national borders. For small and medium-sized businesses, it has been challenging to meet technical requirements related to interaction with public sector organisations in the Nordics. The reason is that many suppliers must first make larger investments in technology to meet the requirements. The collaboration between Vieri and Inexchange will make it easy to meet the requirements and thus open up new markets, says Brikt Grendar, former CEO of Vieri.
More affordable and simpler
– Using Vieri enables suppliers to the public sector to compete on equal terms, without technological barriers. It is a very good and efficient portal, with all the features needed for electronic commerce and message exchange. Among other things, you can easily send price catalogues in PEPPOL standard, which helps to significantly simplify processes, says Brikt Grendar.
Automated processes
The collaboration means that Vieri's web-based service Vieri Supplier Portal will also become available in Sweden. The solution is known for being user-friendly, with features for uploading and validating e-catalogues, an order module and is one hundred per cent adapted to the PEPPOL standard. Over 400 companies are already users of the portal.
